EU Aquaponics Association launched

The EU Aquaponics Association (EUAA) was created last April, during the final conference of the EU Aquaponics Hub in London.

The newly established association aims to promote aquaponics in the European Union as well as globally, while boosting and encouraging aquaponic food quality based on science and good practices. Also, it intends to build an online platform to facilitate the exchange of information between aquaponists, aquaculturists and horticulturist to further support the development of aquaponics.

Finally, the association plans to target all levels of education to widespread aquaponics knowledge with the hope of encouraging young people to get involved in this farming system.
